She was born with in 1993, in a coldy winter day as the last child of her family. There was nobody who were interested in music in her family, but she was spending her all time with a tiny radio at home. Listening to music, trying to sing all those songs were her best hobby to do! Even sometimes she was stealing her brothers’ clothes as costumes and giving concerts to people around...
Time flied, she started to dance. Then found a summer-holiday job when she was at high school. It was in an entertainment team of a hotel. There, for the first time she had chance to be on the stage; she was seventeen. They “playbacked” a musical; Tanz der Vampire, which was a big mile stone in her life as she understood later on. She found out that German language and musicals are amazing! Right after her journey started; based on dancing and musicals. But there was another surprise for her!
On a sunny spring day, after a dancing class, she found herself while she was trying to sing Ruhe Sanft of Mozart! Well, she is still not happy of her singing that aria, but who dies of giving a try? Then all of her plans had changed.
With a certain desire of being an opera actress, she started her musical education in 2012 after she passed the entrance exam of Dilek Sabancı State Conservatory as the top student. Being the top student was super cool, though we can’t say the same for that conservatory! She tried to train herself there. She did an exchange programme to another conservatory in Turkey but those things just pushed her to the arms of a huge depression. She hated her lovely desire, didn’t sing anything for two years… She knew that she had to have a diploma in this modern world; so this “must” lead her to make another change.
Erasmus+ exchange programme were looking quite interesting, so she participated it. Between 2016-2018 she studied at Conservatorio di Musica L. Refice in Frosinone, Italy with the scholarship of Erasmus+ exchange programme. There, she studied voice with Danilo Serraiocco with the coaching of Pietro Liberati; sweetest team ever! She took proper stage and acting classes from Stefania Porrino. For the first time, she performed in the choir of Puccini’s Madama Butterfly in Teatro di Documenti, Rome. Afterwards, Lehar’s Valencienne from Die Lustige Witwe came to her life. During a productive school life, she also had a chance to travel 13 European country by train and by hitch-hiking. Yes, she is a big fan of hitch-hiking!
Then she turned back to Turkey. In the year of 2018 she graduated as the top and high honour student. In the meantime, she continued to work with soprano Görkem Ezgi Yıldırım, the soloist singer of Ankara State Opera and Ballet. Before her graduation, she was considered worthy of the 2. prize of 20. Siemens Opera Contest(2018) in İstanbul. Thereafter she performed in Siemens Headquarter, Munich. Right after, with the sponsorship of Siemens Turkey, she was sent to Summer Academy of Mozarteum, Salzburg where she had the chance to study with great Luciana Serra, Claudia Visca, Helen Donath and gave some concerts.
She also participated National Young Soloist Competition; sang in the final round with the orchestra of İzmir State Opera with conductor Tulio Gagliardo Varas in 2019, February. Subsequently, she sang with İstanbul State Opera’s orchestra in Süreyya Opera House with conductor Zdravko Lazarov. She is also the only soprano who passed the Turkey elimination of 38. Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing competition. Then, in the final rounds in Villach, she advanced to the semi final which had 58 singers among more than one thousand singers.
She was invited to sing at the Buergerfest 2019 held under the auspices of the President of Germany. During the open air concert in Bellevue Palace, Berlin on August 30-31, there were 25,000 spectators, including President Frank Walter Steinmeier.
She believes that every soul has its own journey. She’s trying to live it with peace and beauty. And she is a vegan for 5 years.
